Why Church Attendance Is So Important
If Christians are regularly present for Sunday church
it would make the church stronger to draw outsiders. The number of people regularly present on Sundays helps a church to reach out. The more people present, the better. Each person present makes a difference. Sunday presence serves and witnesses for the Lord not one's self. A believer's presence among gathered followers for Jesus is used by the Holy Spirit to grow God's church.
God established church
so that disciples would gather in community and the Holy Spirit could use that gathering to reach out to others and help them to make their choices for Jesus and lifelong discipleship. Church presence is a witness for Jesus as well as a spiritual blessing. Since church is the body and bride of Christ, it is of equal importance with personal faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord.
